I've Cried the Blue Right Out of My Eyes - An anomaly in the catalog of Crystal Gayle, I've Cried the Blue Right Out of My Eyes consists of her earliest recordings, although it was not released until 1978 by MCA Records, after four other albums, all recorded later, were already out. Produced by the legendary Owen Bradley of Patsy Cline fame, four of its ten tracks, however, had been originally released as singles between 1970 and 1973, including her earliest hit, "I've Cried (the Blue Right Out of My Eyes," which was a #23 Billboard Country Single in August of 1970.
